Elpida Koutsoubaki is a clinical voice specialist, speech therapist, and psychologist with over 25 years of clinical and educational experience. She is the developer of the Integrated Voice Therapy (IVT) approach for voice therapy and training that develops vocal skill through a scientific, functional, and whole-person understanding of vocal expression.

Integrated Voice Therapy workshops provide comprehensive experiential training for the efficient and effective use of the voice in both speaking and singing.

The IVT approach is informed by contemporary developments in neuroscience, neurolaryngology, learning theory, kinesiology, and psychotherapy. It integrates scientific understanding of the body, voice production, and emotional regulation to address the unique vocal needs of each individual, while also supporting artistic vocal expression when relevant.

IVT training workshops are designed for all types of voice users, from professional singers and performers to individuals who rely on their voice in everyday communication.

The training begins with the development of functional control of key anatomical components of the vocal mechanism. At more advanced levels, participants explore deeper aspects of voice production, including neurophysiological coordination and psycho-emotional influences on vocal performance.

The IVT training process is structured in progressive layers, where each new skill builds on previously established foundations. The method is suitable for all levels of experience and for all genres of vocal use. No prior vocal training is required.

Beyond the aesthetic qualities of the voice, IVT focuses on efficiency, resilience, and sustainable vocal function.
