About Me

Dedicated to healing and empowering voices for over 25 years. Explore the journey behind Integrated Voice Therapy and the passion that drives it.

Introduction

My Journey with the Human Voice

Working with voice patients and training voice enthusiasts has become my professional passion. I have been in private practice in Athens, Greece since 1996 as a clinical Voice Specialist, Speech Therapist, and Psychologist. Recognizing the need for a more holistic approach to voice rehabilitation, I combined my clinical experience and diverse training to develop the Integrated Voice Therapy method — a model I apply in therapy and teach through specialized workshops.

The IVT Approach

A Holistic Model Rooted in Science and Human Experience

Integrated Voice Therapy blends traditional voice therapy with advancements in kinesiology, psychotherapy, neuroscience, and learning theory. This interdisciplinary and humanistic model extends the boundaries of voice care by focusing on the whole person — mind, body, and voice. Through ongoing collaboration with voice specialists, phoniatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and coaches, I ensure a well-rounded, evidence-based path to recovery.

Collaborations & Clinical Experience

Clinical Foundations and Collaborative Expertise

Over the years, I’ve worked with leading institutions such as the Athens Voice Center, Athens Medical Center, and the Athens Voice and Swallowing Center, where I served as Head of the Voice Department. I’m also a founding member of an interdisciplinary Voice Mentoring team and have collaborated closely with Voicecraft International Ltd. These experiences have shaped my clinical practice, which focuses on personalized care, prevention, and rehabilitation of voice disorders.

Academic Contributions

Educator in Voice Science and Psychology

I am proud to be a visiting lecturer at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and have lectured on Voice Disorders at the Metropolitan College of Athens. Earlier in my career, I also served as assistant lecturer at Westminster University in London, teaching Social Psychology and Statistical Research. Sharing knowledge remains a core part of my mission.

Specialized Workshops & Training

Training the Next Generation of Voice Experts

The Integrated Voice Therapy workshops — offered both in-person and online — are unique in Europe and designed for speech therapists, singers, ENT doctors, acting coaches, and voice professionals. Rooted in biomechanics and supported by fields like neurophysiology, psychotherapy, and learning theory, these workshops offer deep, practical insight into efficient and holistic voice control.

A Personal Note

Voice as a Lifelong Journey

For the clinician, voice is a therapeutic tool. For the performer, it’s an artistic expression. For all of us, it is a mystery to be explored. My goal is to walk alongside each person — in both clinical and educational settings — as they uncover the potential of their voice and evolve through the process.
